About the event
Sophie Patenaude is an award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist living, learning, and creating in Boston, MA. Hailing from Western Maine, Sophie’s writing realizes the human experience as poetry to be sung and literature to be lived. She interprets the struggles, victories, and stories of the layman to be just as remarkable as any other tale. Inspired by artists such as Brandi Carlile, Stevie Nicks, Noah Kahan, Amy Allen, and Madison Cunningham, Sophie weaves elements of indie, folk, pop, rock, and American roots music into a tapestry of sound that is uniquely her own. By blending her knowledge as a songwriting and voice performance student at the prestigious Berklee College of Music with her experiences growing up in rural Maine, Sophie's work is thought-provoking, grounded, honest, and compelling. While undeniably her own, her music fosters a sense of shared experience amongst her growing audience. She is joined by varying members of her band to create an intimate evening of music.
